10 Songs NOT to Play at Prom
Music at prom (and graduation and any other teen dance event) has become a source of generational confrontation. Teens don’t understand the big deal. Administrators and parents who are red faced and appalled won’t tolerate rude language and sexual innuendo. The DJ in charge, stuck in the middle, walks the fence at every school dance trying to make both sides happy.
According to their screeners here are the Top 10 songs this season to avoid a prom.
- Rude Boy- Rhihanna
- My Chick Bad -Ludacris
- Over- Drake ( a Young Money member and Lil Wayne protege)
- Hey Daddy, Daddy’s Home- Usher
- Winner- Jamie Fox F/ Justin Timberlake
- Roger that- Young Money
- Steady Mobbin- Young Money
- Not Afraid- Eminem
- Lil Freak- Usher
- Bedrock- Young Money
There are of course probably 110 more songs that are not appropriate. These are just the most popular and most offensive and top the banished songs hit list. For a complete alphabetical list you can find them at the School Dance Network web site on their NATIONAL DO NOT PLAY LIST.
