God bless everyone – Andrea Bocelli

Posted by karenb | Lyrics, Movie Soundtracks | Friday 18 December 2009 15:33

The list of soundtracks of the Christmas film of Walt Disney is a list of only two singers on it. The album is composed of 15 songs with 14 songs by Alan Silvestri and a song from Andrea Bocelli. Amazingly, the compilation is a list of heartwarming and uplifting songs. The album is a perfect mix for you to enjoy the holidays and feel it more and let it move your soul in a good way. The only song sung by Andrea Bocelli in the album is entitled “God bless us everyone”. It speaks of humanity’s kindness and good nature and how it could lead to making everyone feel blessed and lucky. The song rekindles the goodness of the Lord and how everyone is created in His image and likeness.

God bless everyone – Andrea Bocelli

Let the stars in the sky
Remind us of man’s compassion
Let us love till we die and
God Bless us everyone

In your heart there’s a light
As bright as a star in heaven
Let it shine through the night and
God bless us everyone

Till each child is fed,
Till all men are free
Till the world becomes a family

Star by star in the sky and
Kindness by human kindness
Let me love till I die and
God bless us everyone

God bless everyone! Merry Christmas. J

Posted by Lira | Pop | Thursday 19 November 2009 09:54

Screen shot 2009-11-19 at 8.54.51 AMAs most people know, the New Kids On The Block has been reunited and is making music once again, since last year. One of its members, Joey McIntyre, however is taking a break from this and intends to go solo for the release of his anticipated EP, “Here We Go Again” which is now out. Gabe Lopez, Drew Ryan Scott and Brent Pashke.

Joey McIntyre had been working on this for quite awhile, saying this to Billboard: “Every two or three years I just get itchy and I want to make a new record, and being out on the road and performing so much only encouraged me more. It was quite an experience the last couple years with the New Kids; it definitely inspired me to write some stuff. And I think that after being part of a group, you kind of want to do your own thing again.”

This solo album was hatched even before the band regrouped last year.

Joey McIntyre’s album will be released in digital version and will also come with a limited copy which will include liner notes, a lyric booklet and photos.

The singer is set to tour this year to promote this album and will afterwards reunite with his band when they set for another round of tours and performances in May 2010.

The rest of the New Kids are also doing their own projects while the next band tour is yet in the works.

With a voice so soothing, the vocals are so dynamic. The song’s aren’t also bad and reflects competent style. Ilan’s strength as a true music artist shines through this album (which is actually entitled Coup).

WIth ten tracks, Coup features a really dark mood although the choices of songs are quite ecclectic.

Miranda’s Revolution

Miranda Lambert has been busy these days after her release of her third album, “Revolution”, and yet she still have time for an interview. The 25-year old singer wants to stay busy all the time, since her 2005 debut album “Kerosene”, that made a name for herself as one of the brightest young talents in Nashville, and the 2007 follow up “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,” which one herself an Academy of Country Music award for Album of the Year.

With her new album Revolution, the young singer has achieved more than enough recognition by many of the folks who listens to his music. The most interesting of her songs are ballads like “The House That Built Me” and “Love Song” is composed with a ho-hum that fits like a little drag, two thirds of the way.

Revolution seems to require more filler in some ways like the song “Maintain the Pain”, which would be put on a smaller album. Lambert is an excellent country singer, but most of her best songs may sometime lack the “in factor”. A very good example would be “Maintain the Pain” in which she uses traditional instrumentation which may sound unusual to many of her followers. The song manages to sound like an electronic violin combined together.

They may not be that half bad, although of her best songs have the corniest sense of humor found in the lyrics. Song like “Only Prettier”, “Heart Like Mine”, and closing it in with a killer ballad “Virginia Bluebell”. But the most notable of which was “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” in which she incorporates a few fine tunes in a mix.

Fans of Miranda Lambert may be little bit disappointed with her new album Revolution. The only real flaws it has is that it’s a little longer and may be boring after a while.

Rihanna speaks out yet another of Chris Brown’s assault that garnered her worldwide controversy. This time around, Rihanna speaks out explicitly with her boyfriend hitting him below the belt. The 20-year old singer confirmed to the rumors that the argument began with a single text message that Chris Brown receive and thus created that spark that started that argument.

Rihanna told Good Morning America Diane Sawyer that she allegedly caught Brown with a lie and won’t even bulge to tell the truth. She also stressed out that she can no longer handle all the lies Brown has been doing for a couple of times. With that single text message, it changed everything and thus proved everything that indeed Brown was definitely lying.

Rihanna revealed it to the public so that she might be able to cite an example to many women out there who are also experiencing the same domestic violence. She also stated that it was a good move to tell the public so that her fans would know what exactly happened during that incident when Brown made the assault. “ I don’t wan;t that five years from now every time they see Rihanna, they think of Chris Brown beating me. That’s not who I am. It’s just one thing that happened to me”, Rihanna said.

After Rihanna’s public announcement, Brown also fought back with her statement to Twitter and accused Rihanna for being a liar and a different person off camera. One dancer even commented that Chris Brown was treated up to its extreme and wish that dancers can speak about things that really happened not by just mere lies and scandals.

There was also Brown’s confidant saying that it was a shame for Rihanna and all the fuzz was just some public stunt to pull her career back on track.
